BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Police in eastern Pennsylvania said a man charged with drunken driving faces more charges after allegedly trying to steal a tow truck a few hours later to retrieve his impounded vehicle.
 
Three's Company Star Charged with DUI Sep 9, 2009
EL SEGUNDO -- Former Three's Company star Joyce DeWitt has been charged with DUI, according to the L.A. County District Attorney's office. DeWitt was charged Tuesday with two misdemeanor counts including driving under the influence, and driving while having a 0.08% or higher blood alcohol level. Officials say DeWitt's blood alcohol was .15% at the time of the incident -- which is almost twice the legal limit. The 60-year old sitcom actress was arrested Saturday, July 4th at 4:19 p.m. after DeWitt drove around a barricade at Pine Avenue and Sierra Street near the city's annual fireworks show, El Segundo police Sgt. US reports 30% rise in arrests of women drivers Aug 20, 2009
WASHINGTON - The number of women arrested for drunken driving has jumped nearly 30 percent in the past decade. The Transportation Department said the number of women arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs increased 28.8 percent between 1998 and 2007. The number of men arrested under the influence fell 7.5 percent in the same time.

The promising 25-year-old, who bought the clothes for a friend's upcoming destination wedding in Mexico, didn't come home one night and never would wear those clothes or see her friend get married. A police officer, holding Schmidt's driver's license, knocked on the home's front door before 10 a.m. April 20, 2008, to tell her parents why. Schmidt had been killed in an early-morning hit-and-run crash and the person who had struck her was still loose. 28-year-old Chad Michael Bleiler of Macungie had to face about 35 of Schmidt's weeping friends and family members and a judge. Man pinned between patrol car, another vehicle Jun 24, 2009
KITTITAS — A 39-year-old man, who is studying to be a reserve officer, was riding along in a Kittitas Police patrol car Sunday when he got a closer look than he bargained for. Christopher P. Taylor of Black Diamond, was riding with KPD officer Brent Nierman Sunday afternoon. The two responded to a domestic call on Main Street in Kittitas. As they responded, one of the suspects, 28-year-old Justin Michele Kalakosky, began leaving the scene in her vehicle. As she backed up, she pinned Taylor between her 1995 Plymouth Neon and the patrol car.

2 Easton High juniors die in crash Mar 10, 2006
(EASTON, PA)Two Easton Area High School students were killed Sunday and a former student was clinging to life after a one-car accident in the Old Orchard section of Palmer Township. The early morning calm of the picturesque neighborhood was broken just after 6:30 a.m. when the car the three were in slammed so violently into a tree that the engine was thrown nearly 60 feet from the vehicle. Pronounced dead at the scene were Michael R. Cummings, an 18-year-old junior quarterback on the Easton Area High football team, and 16-year-old junior girls soccer player Amanda Leigh Schultz, according to Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek. The driver, Kyle Kehler, is an 18-year-old from Palmer Township who was a junior at Easton Area High School last year but is not in school this year.
